Botulinum Toxin (also called Dysport and Botox)
Of all of the cosmetic services I do this is the most popular. It is quick and you start seeing results in 24-72 hours and peaking at 7-10 days and lasting for 3-4 months
Botulinum toxin is used to treat facial wrinkles, unwanted lines and frowns. When injected into a muscle, causes weakness of the muscle, thus softening the facial expression. Not all wrinkles are caused by repeated muscular contractions such as occur with frowning, squinting and brow furrowing. The dynamic wrinkles that usually respond to botulinum toxin are the following:
- Frown lines between the eyebrows
- Horizontal forehead lines
- Crows feet lines
